Mack Washington began playing violin at age 2 and piano at age 6, going on to study music at Valley City State University and eventually earn her BS in Music and Religion. She spent nearly a decade performing with local groups and orchestras before moving to Tijuana, where she lived for a year and a half working with Youth With a Mission. She began teaching music when she was 16, and has enjoyed working with people from all walks of life (but especially kids!)

In her free time she enjoys climbing, snowboarding, and generally spending time outside with her husband and daughter.
